The Man Behind The Gimmick: Evan Tolley

Being a multifaceted talent has become the status quo for those who want to make it in the world of independent wrestling, but a stand up comedy spot is not what you would expect to see thrown in the mix. On August 7th Urban Combat Wrestling held the event Litty For The City and one half of the Whiteclaw Outlaw tag team made an unusual appearance. Know for his vicious promos and his diabolical in ring tactics, Evan doing stand up out of character was a shock to many. When asked about the experience Tolley said, " I needed tonight man, after all that has gone on I really needed this.". The show had been scheduled for an outdoor wrestling even but was moved inside the building do to poor weather. With nothing to lose Tolley was given the opportunity to entertain the crowd with his comedic abilities. The moment was special for Evan, and he expressed his gratitude for it. "I am glad to be able to get up there for the first time in over 11 years. I didn't know how much I needed that.".
